Anacapa Surgical Associates Neurosurgery is at the Ventura County Medical Center. The central nervous system consists of the brain, spinal cord, and all the nerves in your body. Our ASA surgical team is by referral only. Please talk to your primary physician about referrals.

Our Neurosurgery program provides surgical treatment when diagnosis and treatment of all types of disease or impaired function of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, muscles, and nervous systems as well as the blood vessels connected to these structures require surgical intervention.

Neurologists may perform and analyze tests related to the nervous system or muscles prior to referring to our Anacapa Surgical Associates Neurosurgical Procedures team. These procedures may include:

• Anterior/posterior Cervical fusions
• Laminectomies
• Anterior/ posterior Lumbar fusions
• Discectomies
• Brain surgeries include:
• Craniotomies
• Cranioplasties
• Excision of brain tumor
• VP shunt placements for Hydrocephalus
• TX of spine fractures
